The prosecution has dropped charges against a secondary teacher who was mentioned in the death of Machakos Senator Boniface Kabaka in December.

According to the State representatives, a report from the government’s chemist did not reveal any involvement of Esther Nthenya Muli in the attempted murder of the late Senator.

Muli was reportedly with the Senator in an apartment in Kileleshwa on the night he collapsed and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit.

According a report from the government chemist the lawmaker had not been fed any toxin as earlier reported.

As a result, the court revealed that there was no evidence to pin the woman down.
