The agency says the move is likely to make the crown tragedy last longer.

The European Union (EU) has introduced a measure of control over the sale of vaccines in developing countries amid growing concerns about vaccine production.

But WHO Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mariangela Simao said the situation was worrying.

Earlier, the agency’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said national immunization could prolong patients’ recovery from the disease.

The move will affect 100 countries around the world including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia, but many other nations, including the poor, are not involved in the move.
