The number of COVID-19 infections has reached 102,867 after 75 more cases have been confirmed – National Radio

The country’s Ministry of Health has confirmed 75 new cases of coronary viral infections after testing 3,025 samples in the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of HIV infections in the country to 102,867 with a total of 1,241,368 samples tested.

Nairobi County has recorded 51 cases, Kiambu 6, Busia 4, Uasin Gishu 2, Mombasa 2, Nyeri 2, Garissa 1, Noma Bay 1, Kirinyaga 1, Meru 1, Murang’a 1, Nakuru 1, Nyandarua 1 and Trans Nzoia 1 .

According to the ministry’s report, 56 patients have recovered from the virus, 37 from the home care program and 19 from various hospitals in the country.

The total number of survivors is now 85,008.

The ministry also said that there were no casualties associated with the virus in the same period, which was 24 hours, so the number of disasters remained 1,795.

Currently 347 patients are being treated in various hospitals in the country while 1,275 patients are being treated in a home-based care program.

Thirty-three patients are in the intensive care unit, 14 of them using respirators while 18 are receiving extra oxygen.
