“The body of a middle-aged man today was found near the road. The man, a regular worker, had injuries to his face which we suspect may have been caused by something dull, ”he said.

The police commander revealed that the man was well-known in the area and an investigation was under way to arrest the killers. The body was taken to Kitengela Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.

This comes even as Kitengela residents continue to raise concerns about the increasing incidence of insecurity in the city.

Rarely two weeks ago four men went missing after eating at a popular entertainment venue in the city.

The four, Elijah Obuong, Jack Ochieng, Benjamin Imbai, and Brian Odor disappeared on April 19 and the car they were using was found abandoned the next day at the restaurant’s parking lot.

Two missing quartet bodies; Elijah Obuong and Benjamin Imbai were found last week in Murang’a and Kiambu counties.
