Speaking at the opening of a cadet course at the Kiganjo National Police Training College in Nyeri County, Matiang’I said the order would be implemented to deal with cases of sexual harassment and misconduct among squad officers. police in the country.

He said senior police officers would be barred from engaging in sexual activity with their subordinates, adding that if such a situation arose, one of the officers would be required to leave the force.

His remarks come after a recent incident in which a senior security officer in the ministry of national security, shot dead his wife, a former constable police officer, before committing suicide by shooting himself.
