Telkom Announces Free Mobile Money Transfer to Any Network for T-kash Customers –

Telkom customers will be able to use T-kash, a technology company’s financial services platform, to send money through local networks, at no cost, for the next 60 days.

In a statement to newsrooms, Telkom stated that during the same period, customers will receive an additional 25 percent of the extra time, when they purchase airtime via T-kash.

Telkom will also provide its customers with data and talk time when they will use T-kash to pay bills such as Nairobi Water, Kenya Power and pay TV platforms such as GoTV, Star Times and Zuku.

“COVID-19 has led to increased costs and a prudent customer is looking for more value at a better price. What T-kash offers the customer for the next 60 days is a platform that removes the stress of constantly calculating how much money you will need to successfully make a purchase in this case, send money, ”said Telkom CEO Mugo Kibati.

Telkom says it is working on T-kash extensions to address the distribution and availability of services through a growing agency agency, as well as launching customer channels that will enhance the financial services experience.

“We have been collecting feedback from our customers which has informed the next steps, with respect to the desired experience of the T-kash client: simplicity, accessibility and accessibility,” said Kibati.

Telkom recently announced a partnership with the ICT Youth Council of the Ministry of ICT (NYCK), to create an OPPORTUNITY, an e-wallet that will open a financial opportunity for young people in Kenya and beyond at the grassroots level.

The goal is to increase the resilience of young people amidst barriers to infrastructure and infrastructure that hinders their access to financial services and products.

Telkom customers can sign up for T-kash after being registered with an authorized agent, for which service lists will be shared. The T-kash menu can be accessed via USSD by dialing * 160 # or via DSTK.

The company has promised that soon T-kash customers will also be able to access the service using the T-kashk APP through the Google Play store, Apple Store, and Huawei App Store.
