The revelations were made following a a viral video seen by kenyagist.com, which showed phone recordings taken from a mobile phone taken from a criminal suspect who had followed a woman to her home Nyayo Estate Embakasi on Wednesday, April 28.

Sources have shown that thieves pursue their goals for days – or even weeks – while driving home to set up a structure before a strike.

Telephone records revealed how the suspect tracked down the woman – and other previous targets – to keep a list of all their information.

The incident at Nairobi’s Nyayo Stadium left residents in shock – when a security guard stopped a suspect who appeared to be doing his homework well and knowing full well.

The robbers are said to be targeting the final areas in Nairobi. Nyayo Estate has more than 5,000 homes that are home to more than 30,000 residents.

The suspect is said to have pretended to be a businessman trying to sell an investment idea to a woman, in order to realize that this was a well-planned tactic to harass and rob her.

“The robbers are perfect in their description.

“They are immersed in the specific task to ensure that no details are left out. Ie KCX… B woman (midnight) KCR… T, White Land Rover KDB… T, Silver Subaru (woman driving) what do you live for, ”said a source who did not want to be named.

In September last year, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation highlighted how criminals were increasingly targeting car rental services in Nairobi.

“They are approaching the car rental service, they are issuing fake documents and then the drivers are not seen again.

According to police, criminals preferred hired vehicles as it is easier to cross the border with the documents they get from those companies.

According to a recent report by the Association Of Kenya Insurance, insurance companies report at least 100 vehicles as stolen each month.
