Raphael Tuju Walks for 50 Kilometres [VIDEO]

    Jubilee Association communications officer Polycarp Hinga, in a statement on Sunday, May 2, it was revealed that Tuju managed to travel 50 kilometers.

    CS without further ado realized that it was a miracle he could take such a step considering that he was on life support at some point in 2020.

    “God is great. Considering where I was last year, I can only thank God. Thank you for your help and prayers when I went through the trauma of the accident, ”said Tuju.

    Tuju was involved in a tragic accident on February 12, 2012, while attending a funeral of the late Daniel Moi in Kabarak.

    Photographs of the accident, which took place in the Magina area on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway, showed a badly damaged vehicle.

    He was airlifted from the scene to Karen Hospital for special treatment before being flown to the UK.

    In March of the same year, at a press conference, he revealed that he had received life support after his lungs collapsed and he had 13 broken ribs.

    “My lungs collapsed because I had 13 broken ribs and doctors had to make a life and death decision by removing the life support system so I could go for special treatment in London,” he said.

    Since returning to his legs at the time, Tuju has been nursing injuries and in February 2021, he confirmed that more than 18 bones had been broken in his body.

    “I thank God as I continue to grow. I broke my bones18, 17 I have completely recovered only one yet. I am still struggling with it, however, I believe I am doing better, ”he said at the time.
