ODM party leader Raila Odinga has embarked on a three-day visit to Turkana County to seek support for the 2020 constitutional amendment bill.
Raila is expected to meet with party leaders as well as youth and women’s groups at the Council garden in Lodwar on Thursday.
The former prime minister will address a rally in Loima. The opposition leader is expected to visit Kakuma and Katulu Turkana north on Friday.
On Sunday he is expected to attend a Sunday service at the Catholic Church in Lodwar.
The visit, which includes several meetings, is one of the plans to sensitize the public on the contents of the BBI’s reconciliation plan report.
Bill of the 2020 constitutional amendment has already been submitted to the county legislatures for decision.
