Parents of a Form Three student being held for assaulting his three teachers want him jailed for indiscipline.
According Gichugu Sub-county Police commander Anthony Mbogo, the Rwambati High School student attacked the teachers who found him in possession of a mobile phone.
The boy had resisted a search attempts resulting to a confrontation that ended up in the assaults.
The student is said to have been under the influence of bhang at the time and even damaged one of the windows at the school.
His parents have asked the authorities to ensure their son is put behind bars following the incident.
“The Deputy principal talked with the parent who are civil servants, but they said they want the boy jailed because he is indisciplined,” said Mr. Mbogo.
