Netflix announced the move by sharing a snippet of movies coming to the streamer this year
The international streaming giant Netflix has announced plans to release a movie every week over the next 12 months. This is in part due to the ongoing global pandemic which has forced movie studios to rethink the way they release movies. Last year, Warner Brothers announced plans to release their movies in theatres and on the streaming service HBO Max concurrently.
This however bad for the box office bodes well for Netflix account holders in Kenya.
Among the films set to be released on Netflix this year include “The Harder They Fall” a Western starring Idris Elba, Regina King and Jonathan Majors and “Don’t Look Up” starring Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet.
Halle Berry is also set to make her directorial debut on Netflix this year.
