More than 600 Twitter Users and Followers Will Soon Be Able to Find Position on iOS and Android

Twitter users with 600 or more followers will be able to invite Space to the app. The update, originally scheduled for April, will be shown directly to iOS and Android users. Since its launch late last year, only iOS users have been able to host Space.

According to Twitter, comments collected during the period showed that users with 600 or more followers had a better experience of hosting live chat because of their existing audience.

“Before we bring the potential to create space for everyone, we focus on learning more, making it easier to discover space, and helping people enjoy it with a larger audience.” the company said in a blog post announcing the change.

Twitter is also adding a service that will allow users to earn revenue on Spaces via Tickets. Creators will be able to pay for their events and sell tickets to other twitter users at the price they want. Twitter also stands to earn a small percentage from ticket sales. The feature will be available to a small group of users in the coming weeks before its official launch.

Unlike the Spaces revenue-generating service, Clubhouse allows users to collect direct payments from participants, although only a small group of pilots can receive current payments.

Twitter also works by allowing users to schedule their events and collaborate. The platform already provides live info and latest updates. There are plans to add functions to allow users to pause, rewind and change fonts.
