195 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 virus after testing 5,859 samples in the last 24 hours. The total number of certified visas in the country is now 101,534.

The total number of samples tested in the country since the outbreak of the virus in March last year is 1,206,161.

Of those new cases, 174 are Kenyans while 21 are foreign nationals. 116 are male and 79 are female with the youngest patient being one month old and the oldest at 90 years old.

Nairobi County continued to lead in the transmission of new visas while copying visas 140, Kiambu it had a visa 8, Turkana 6, Machakos 6 here Mombasa, Embu and poison with visas 5 each.

Nakuru, Kajiado Garissa and Nyeri registered visas 3 each. Laikipia and Kilifi copied visas 2 each. Here Makueni Kisii Siaya and Trans Nzoia with one story each.

However, another 125 people have recovered from the deadly virus, with 80 being allowed to leave various health facilities and 45 from the Covid-19 home-based care program. The total number of corona survivors in the country is now 84,268.

The sad fact is that three patients have died from the effects of Covid-19 in the country in the past 24 hours.

The three disasters have increased the number of Covid-19 deaths in the country to 1,776.

Currently 401 patients are hospitalized in various hospitals across the country while another 1,419 are in the intensive care unit.

Twenty-seven patients have been admitted to the intensive care unit-ICU, with 16 using respirators and 11 receiving extra oxygen.

Another 17 patients receive extra oxygen, 12 of them in normal wards and 5 in the HDU room.
