Memba cooperative license license has been revoked – Radio National

The National Transport and Security Council has ordered all vehicles operated by the cooperative Memba Travelers Sacco Society ceases to serve immediately.

According to a press release, the NTSA council said all vehicles of the cooperative will be re-inspected at the Likoni road checkpoint in Nairobi.

The council said that only authorized vehicles will be allowed to operate.

This comes after a female passenger lost her life on Sunday after allegedly being pushed out of a car allegedly owned by the party.

Judy Wanjiku Nyaga, 26, lost her life when she was taken to Thika Level V Hospital.
