Time to install all devices has also been adjusted to 6:00 p.m.

This follows the President’s Speech on May 1, 2021, which lifted partial closures in five counties and adjusted the curfew.

In a statement announcing the reopening, KWS said they continue to be committed to strict compliance with Covid-19 protection regulations as outlined in Ministry of Health guidelines, to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers.

KWS also emphasized the wearing of face masks, maintaining body distance and hand washing or the use of hand sanitizers is mandatory at their facilities.

“Visitors are welcome to visit our parks, parks and dormitories for a memorable experience. We thank you for your continued support,” the statement concluded.

KWS previously announced the closure of all picnic sites and other sites in the Park, Park and Sanctuary where visitors have a habit of gathering in five infected areas.

The order affected areas in Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Kiambu and Nakuru counties.

In a statement, KWS said all National Parks, Reserves and Sanctuary will remain open from 6 a.m., with a closed closing time of 5 p.m. and strict observance of Ministry of Health Covid-19 protocols.

KWS had stepped up measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in National Parks and Parks in line with the 15th Presidential Address on the Coronavirus epidemic.
