Kenya records 98 cases of COVID-19 transmission – National Radio

Kenya has recorded 98 cases of coronary viral infections after sample testing 3,739 in the last 24 hours.

This has brought the total number of HIV infections in the country to 100,773 with the total number of samples tested 1,186,951.

Of the new cases, 86 were Kenyans and 12 were foreign nationals.

82 cases are for women while 16 are for men.

The youngest patient was a ten-year-old child while the oldest patient was 85 years old.

Fifty-two patients have recovered from the virus, 23 were out of the home care program and 29 were recovering from hospitals across the country.

The total number of survivors is now people 83,907.

However, eight more patients died from the disease, bringing the total death toll to 1,763.

Currently 471 patients are hospitalized in various hospitals in the country while patients 1,408 being involved in a home-based care program.
