Pipeline started the tournament carelessly with a loss of 11-25,16-25 and 20-25 sets.

Initially the Pipeline had beaten Nigeria’s Customs 2-3 sets in another tournament thus jeopardizing their chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.

Carthage lead the group by 15 points after winning all 5 matches as Customs need a victory in Monday’s final against As Douanes of Burkina Faso to qualify for the semi-finals and knock out the Pipeline.

Pipeline and Customs have scored 9 points each although Kenyans have already completed their matches.

In order for Pipeline to reach the semi-finals, Douanes must beat Customs in the final.
