Kenya carries two silver medals when the World Relay ends in Poland – KBC


Kenya LR Quartet: Mark Otieno, Elijah Onkware, Mike Mokamba and Hesbon Ochieng won the Silver medal in the men’s 4x200m men’s race at the World Relay in Poland.

The national rotating team won two silver medals when the curtains reached 5th World Relay edition in Silesia, Poland.

Kenya’s men’s quartet 4x200m’s Mark Otieno, Mike Mokamba, Elijah Mathew and Hesbon Ochieng posted a brilliant season of 1: 24.26 to finish second in the back-to-back race behind German winners who posted 1: 22.43.

It was a huge improvement from Kenya on the race, getting their best win in the event.

This was Kenya’s second currency in the two-day tournament. Ferguson Rotich and Naomi Korir faced a tough challenge to take second place in the 2x2x 400m race behind the Polish winner during the first day of the championship.

Kenya finished third in the Shuttle mixed blockade. Quartet Priscilla Tabunda, Michael Nzuku, Nusra Rukia and Wiseman Mukhobe recorded 59:89 seconds, the best season, behind the German and Polish winners.
