The 33-year-old has become one of the most sought after managers in Europe after taking the reins to lead RB Leipzig in 2019 and lead them to the semi-finals of the Uefa Champions Cup last year.

Nagelsmann and Leipzig contracts were expected to expire in 2023 but Municha have agreed to pay 20 million euros to snatch the coach and make him the most expensive manager in Europe.

Flick and Munich’s contract was due to expire in 2023 but he has opted to step down at the end of this season since joining the Allienz Arena in November last year.

Flick is currently one of the most sought after coaches to take over the reins of the German national team in July this year after the Euro Cup.
