Idris Sultan starred in a film shown by Netflix


Tanzanian actor, comedian and radio presenter Idris Sultan is one of the actors in the film “Slay” which is available on Netflix.

The film by Nigerian producer and actor Elvis Chuks began airing on Netflix yesterday on April 26, 2021.

While announcing the film’s arrival on social media, “Naija on Netflix” denied Idris citizenship by calling him a Kenyan, prompting the actor to encourage Tanzanians on social media to post pictures of the Tanzanian flag on the ad until it was revised.

Idris who won the “Big Brother Africa-Hotshots” competition in 2014 is proud to be the first Tanzanian actor to be in a film that is available on Netflix.

Idris, who is well-dressed, also won the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards in Uganda.

In 2016 he won the award for the best dressed journalist in the men’s unit and in 2017 he won the award for the most famous man in the men’s unit as well.

Slay is a film about the lives of girls who hunt older men and girls who pretend to be from a wealthy family while living in poverty.
