Esperance hosts win Africa men’s trophy for men 6th time Esperance locals win men’s Africa Cup for men for 6th time


Tunisian club Esperance have won the Africa Cup of Nations between men’s clubs in Volleyball after beating Egyptian side Zamalek 3-0 in a thrilling final on Tuesday afternoon in Tunis-Tunisia.

Esperance, who have now won 6 African titles, grabbed the 25-20,25-23 and 25-10 sets against the Egyptian rivals.

Libya’s Swelhy initially grabbed the first medal in their history after winning a bronze medal following a 3-0 set victory over Tunisia’s Kelibia 25-21,25-19 and 25-19.

A total of 16 teams participated in the men’s tournament in Kenya represented by league champions GSU and Kenya Ports Authority.
