The capacity of the inter-county trains will be doubled Monday as the schools fully re-open.

Speaking during a press briefing after the inter-ministry meeting Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia said there will be no express trains on Monday.

The CS said the government has engaged transport stakeholders and agreed on robust measures that will be put in place ahead of re-opening that include alcohol tests for all drivers.
