Brock Lesnar is one of the most followed wrestlers to ever perform at the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Despite his legendary status in the entertainment industry, The Beast Incarnate remains a divisive character, with wrestling fans loving and hating him in equal measures.

His lovers admire the intimidating style of throwing opponents around the ring like a sack of baggage before finishing them off with the signature F5.

However, what stands out for the colossus wrestler is the tattoos pinned all over his body.

One is the massive sword tattoo on the 43-year-old chest that runs from his belly, pointing towards the neck.

According to the Sun, the wrestler revealed that the tattoo has a special meaning to his personality.

He disclosed that the sword reminds him of the legal battle with WWE in the 2000s when he felt like Vince McMahon’s company was figuratively pointing a sword at his throat.

“I felt like life was holding a sword right up against my throat, so I went under the ink gun because I never wanted to forget exactly how I felt at that time. The tattoo on my chest has so much meaning to me,” he wrote in his 2011 autobiography titled Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival.

Soon after Broke left WWE in the mid-2000s, he was banned from entering into a contract with rival New Japan Pro Wrestling due to a close on his deal.

It is during that period that he decided to have a tattoo during a drinking night out.

“In some ways, it’s funny, because the period of my life that I’m talking about is a time I so want to forget. But I know I can use this memory as motivation.”
