About 900 Kenyans have been arrested in the Covid-19 conflict in India.

Kenyan authorities have reportedly expressed concern over the increase in Covid-19 cases in India and have urged Kenyans to register their details with the Kenya Central Commission in New Delhi as the government finds a way forward.

Through the announcement by Kenyan High Commissioner Willy Bett, Kenyans have also been advised to form Whatsapp groups and notify the embassy to reduce communication.

The proliferation of Covid-19 cases in India has raised concerns at home and abroad.

As of yesterday, the country published the highest daily infections with 332, 730 new cases and 2,263 deaths

In Kenya on the other hand, as of yesterday 773 people received Covid-19 from a sample size of 7,036 tested in 24 hours.

The total number of certified visas in the country is now 155,165 from the additional 1,631,699 additional tests done so far.

236 patients were in the ICU, 53 of them were on respiratory support and 153 on additional oxygen. Thirty patients were on screen.
