Police said Olaba was planning to kill a key witness in the case in an effort to win justice.
“The suspect has contacted several witnesses in the matter with the aim of silencing them,” Otieno added.

The Intelligence Officer said he wanted to remove key witnesses by hiring celebrities, saying he had already paid the minimum wage.

In an affidavit seeking his detention, Otieno told the court that after an investigation the accused was arrested Thursday while he was on a mission to kill a witness.

Police said they received two calls from Olaba which are being investigated to determine if there are more players in the case.

Olaba had gone to another party looking for ways to remove a witness in the case before the police were notified.

The officers sent secret officers who acted as executives of his mission before prosecuting him.

After his arrest, Olaba told police he had been possessed by demonic spirits.

Through his lawyer, the suspect sought bail conditions saying he had cooperated with the police in other cases.

He added that he had not been notified of the name by the person employed.
